This is a project that was performed in a phosphate fertilizer plant on a piece of equipment (converter) that is used in the processing of the phosphates. This was a scheduled turn-a-round that involved the rebuilding and replacement of all the interior components of the converter. Many of the components had an asbestos rope gasket around them and had to be abated prior to the disposal of them. This project ran for sixteen consecutive days with two ten-hour shifts per day.
